I'll be posting news about forum updates here.

Here's a quick summary of what's new on this forum compared to our previous one:

• Own hosting+domain
• Forum runs on PHPBB3 Gold
• Updated SFCentar style w/ updated icons
• Custom logo
• New "Quick Reply" addon
• Working "Who Was Here" feature
• Updated Karma MOD
• Updated Chatbox
• No "log off" bug
• No "latest post" bug

Added two new profile fields: "Main character" and "Job". These fields are now required during registration. This is mostly a security measure, but it also makes a nice addon to the profile. Those users who are already registered can fill in these profile fields from their User Control Panel.

I tried playing with the broken database backup from Informe for the last time with no success. It really is possible to restore all the posts and topics from the previous forum by doing a partial restore, but without some other parts of the database it might and, most probably, would cause glitches. So I've decided that it's not worth it, we don't have that much of an important content there anyway. So we'll keep this new forum clean from the glitches of the old one, and will keep all the backups (working ones this time) to restore it if anything happens.
P. S.: Don't worry that you had to login again today, this happens after someone messes with database.

S.: I will close Informe board now and point to this page in the message, mostly because some users still keep on visiting the old one without reading other threads, even after I mass e-mailed everyone that we're moving (now I'm not sure if it worked). So if you need anything from there, tell me and I'll reopen it for you to move your topics or to grab whatever you need.
