Okay, so i have a 60 gb hard drive on my computer, as well as 500 mb of RAM. It's pretty old.
My brother and I have been argueing because he thinks maplestory has been
slowing down our computer. So does MapleStory slow down my computer?

You mean, when the game is not working, just by being installed on your HDD? Well, if you don't have much space left on your HDD, then by deleting MapleStory and freeing up some space on the system disk you can make your computer work a bit faster, but then again, you can as well delete something else. MapleStory itself doesn't do anything to a computer, it's just a bunch of files while it's not working.

When MS isn't on, it doesn't. Gameguard is not running in the background when MS is off, despite some rumours. It's not a system service.
