This was IGN's April Fools' joke (or wasn't it, hm? ), but the trailer is so real, I almost believed them.

I only played Zelda games very briefly. So can anyone tell me, does this trailer look like it's true to the game series?

If it actually WERE a movie, I'd like better-looking actors since Japanese drawing styles tend to concentrate on human perfection.

BUT ANYWAYS... I mean, I guess it's supposed to be a new plot or something, since Link is left-handed in all of his games besides Twilight Princess. Otherwise, it's pretty accurate from the looks of it.

Note: Link was right-handed in Twilight Princess because most players are right-handed. Nintendo wanted them to feel like they were "swinging the sword" and "shooting the bow". (He's only right-handed in the Wii version. In the Gamecube edition, it can be noted that he is LEFT-handed.)

Wasnt' the cube version maps mirrored? Also, it looked pretty good, but not the actors (as said above). I already knew it was fake before watching so I was quite surprised when I watched it.

i was thinking throughout the entire trailer "You got to be kidding me". Also if it were a movie, i'd say make link hotter, make zelda hotter, and make it more accurate?

And do you, guys, think, that Nintendo is right about forbidding to make "Zelda" series into a movie? Because I'm pretty sure that, unless it's made by Japanese themselves, the movie would look just like that at best.

Same here. That was surprisingly expensive trailer for them to make, and the fact that they could get better-looking actors if it was real is, actually, another thing that makes it believable. Remember a lot of controversy about Galadriel in LotR? That's why I like their joke a lot. :]
