1. Too used to Windows.
2. People who use them are often snobby "evangelists".
3. Commercials were bad enough alone, now Windows is making them in reaction.

Anyways, here's my desktop on my laptop (lol):

Make sure your brightness isn't set too high, otherwise your eyes might hurt.

Personally I'd change Windows for MacOSX anytime. Macs are just too expensive here and you can't keep upgrading them.

I'm too used to windows, and windows is more for gamers than anything else I'd say since you can upgrade it at any given time.
A mac is more for work (although there are some games for the Mac but are very old and run very badly most of the time)

I dont like Mac commercials. They pretty much trash windows but dont tell me much about a mac. I'll stick with windows forever. Although I prefer XP over vista.

Vista is great as long as you have a decent computer.

I'm ok with Mac, but I can't use it's interface worth crap. "What...where do I click? ARGH this makes no sense!"

Does anyone know how to get Dreamscene for Vista without having to get the uberdubersuper expensive "executive" version or something? Dreamscene = the thing that makes moving backgrounds.

The interface in MacOSX is much more ergonomic than in Windows. You're just used to Windows.
One small example. In Windows, vertical scroll has an "Up" button at the top and "Down" button at the bottom. In Mac both these buttons are located at the bottom. At first it might be unusual, but actually it is more ergonomic, as you don't have to make extra moves with your mouse, since usually you end up clicking both of these buttons to adjust the image. And it's only a single example out of many-many more.

What Dark said. Alternatively you can buy DeskScapes 2.x and use it instead. It's better than Dreamscene anyway.

I'm going to try out the trial, thanks for the link!

And yes, I am very used to Windows. :P
