The game called "Flower" has been recently released on PlayStation Network (exclusively). It's a small and pretty simple game, but "Flower" enchants, mesmerizes, takes away your breath as you see, hear and play it.
The story of "Flower" is simple, but very touching. A lonely flower is sitting in a flower pot at the shop window in a colourless, rainy city. And starts dreaming... Dreaming about boundless grass fields, nature and sunshine...
That's when the gameplay starts. You control a flower petal flying in the wind by tilting your gamepad in the needed direction, gathering petals from other flowers in your wind stream, reviving the nature around you. By the end you try to revive the gloomy city, adding a touch of nature to its grey surroundings. It looks simply breathtaking. Nice, soothing music adds to the unexplainable experience, and you're not playing anymore, you're meditating... It's hard to describe in words, videos show it better (be sure to click "watch in HD"):





If there is art in videogames, "Flower" is definitely one of the best examples.

wow looks nice really kewl but like id doubt this will be much of a hit because gamers these days are like BLLOD BLOOODD -shoots- etc something liek a mission game with action/adventure o__o. BUT oddly enough i think id buy this game when i get my new ps3 iLOL

Well, I can't really justify spending $10 on a game that's going to last me 3 hours (shut up about nx), does it have really good replay value at all? It looks like it's basically just a go through, collect all the flowers, and listen to the pretty music that it makes game that once you've been through it once it doesn't really have much replay value.

Even simply watching those videos before going to bed makes me sleep better. So I believe you can get back to it anytime just like to some nice interactive relaxing screensaver. It all depends on the personal preferences, I guess.
