MTS Fee Change

So, Nexon has decided to change MTS Fee, as stated on the official website.

Due to many players using the MTS as storage, the MTS has experienced higher than expected traffic and has become a burden on the game's performance. In order to reduce these 'bogus' listings on the MTS we are raising the base transaction fee from 100 NX to 500 NX. However, to encourage legitimate use of the service, we are lowering the percentage transaction fee from 10% to 7%. What does this mean for you as a MTS user?

It'd be okay if they said they're doing this "In order to stop lots of small microtransactions occuring in MTS". But they said it's in order to prevent using MTS as storage, which makes no sense. At first I thought there's something I didn't understand. But then... Well:

Also with this new fee change, no more 221NX prices in MTS.

That sucks. I sold some pants for $30 a while ago. It won't affect large sums as much but the little transactions like you said will be. Well, I still get to use it as storage. I just put 600 rocks in there.

Soo.... has anyone noticed some new mysterious lag coming from maple recently, either after the patch or after the most recent server check?

Im getting it too, for me it has been coming on and off, and my lag is for going thru portals, killing monsters, and picking up items.
The lag isnt too bad for me at night, and when i restart my computer its better for a little while
