Did you try a clean installation of Windows?
I got a laptop a few weeks ago that crashes spontaneously like that, pain in the %$@&#. Would still do so even after clean install, so I had to return it. But considering that your comp is not new... hmm.
Things you could try:
Memtest 86+
Installing a clean windows on a fresh hard drive
Turning on crash dumps so you can see %$@&# is going on.
When you get the BSOD, does it give you an error code? Copy it down and google it!

Just dl the file, and unzip it. Windows should be able to unzip it automatically. Then double click the file, it doesn't need to be installed or anything (at least the version I'm using doesn't. ) A screen should pop up with the infos and also some numbers should appear in the taskbar (the thing on the bottom right of your screen with the clock and date). Those are the temperatures of your cpu.iAmTubbie wrote:dark u got to teach me step by step
How frequent are the bsods? Most likely it's something to do with software/drivers. Also, what ether said. Ask her for step by step instructions on those ones.
